There are exciting plans in place to further improve facilities by creating a children’s adventure play area, refurbishing toilet and shower facilities, as well as creating campervan parking with electric hook ups. Also planned, is a brand new digital information point within the visitor centre to assist visitors with navigating this beautiful valley.
Through funding from Welsh Government as part of Valleys Regional Park, Afan Forest Park now has a new children’s area, and has undertaken improvements and refurbishments to the car parking and motorhome hook-up, toilet, and shower facilities — as well as to the visitor centre interpretation.
